The Alex Company trio was born in 1985, from the pencil of Alex Rinesch, when Free, all big ears and large feet mouse, falls onto Earth from his Cheese Planet. Alone, penniless and seeking for a flat to share, Free soon meets Sugar the Cat and Little Bo the Elephant ( all in the same conditions! ). Living together through parties and “creative” projects, the trio set up, in a rickety building, the foundations of an unbreakable friendship. The rebel mouse Free, the sleepy cat Sugar and the elephant Little Bo (very sweet living oxymoron), are the main characters of a wacky but harmonious universe. Everyone can identify with the world of Alex Company; the trio plays, studies, works, travels, socializes, falls in love, gets angry…in a word it experiences true emotions. And if each one of us can say “Sugar’s like me” or “look, so-and-so’s just like Little Bo”, one thing is for sure: they all have something in common with their father Alex Rinesch. Naturally all Biembi’s greeting cards of Alex Company play with colours, happiness and the trio’s humour. And so do our watches, pencil boxes, statuettes, calendars, photoalbums, stuffed toys, radios, mugs and jugs, CD holders…
